Introducing the Head Chef
Japanese cuisine chef Yukihiro Sakashita
He has trained in various parts of Hokkaido for over 40 years, and has been making sushi in Otaru for over half of those years.
It's simply to see the smiles on our customers' faces when they are satisfied.
We will provide our guests with a happy moment using seasonal Otaru ingredients and skilled techniques.
Please enjoy the seafood that allows you to experience the four seasons of Otaru in nigiri and sashimi.

We offer a buffet-style meal that makes generous use of ingredients from Hokkaido.
We offer a variety of options, including a seafood bowl you can make to your liking, grilled fish, and our special zangi. Please enjoy a breakfast that is unique to Hokkaido.

We always have 20 to 30 types of wine from Hokkaido, Otaru, and Yoichi available.
You can enjoy a wide variety of high-quality wines from Otaru and Yoichi Town, which are famous for their wines.
We propose a marriage between local wines unique to IL ONAI and ingredients from Otaru.
Carefully selected Hokkaido sake
We stock not only Otaru's local sake, but also many famous sakes from all over Hokkaido.
We also have a sake tasting set where you can choose from three different types of sake.
